What is The Economic Ledger
The Economic Ledger is an independent research and commentary site covering markets, economic policy, and financial regulation. Posts apply core economic concepts, incentives, market structure, and institutional design to real decisions being made in Washington and on Wall Street.
The site includes regular market and policy commentary, periodic reports tracking specific developments, and longer-form research papers that examine individual policy questions in depth, with data and citations behind each one.
I'm a high school junior in Freehold, New Jersey, focused on economics, finance, and public policy. My work includes research on environmental economics and elder financial exploitation, market analysis through Future Market Leaders, a research club I founded at Colts Neck High School, and Antifrauds, a community initiative applying that research to protect seniors from AI-powered financial fraud.
